Why We Should Have Hope

It’s been a century since the Atlantic Salmon came home up the Kennebunk river and the timing of their return couldn’t be more important. The State of Maine has removed the Kennebunk dam, and after just a short period of time the fish have been swimming in high numbers. The main lesson, if you give nature an inch, it might even take 2.

The message hasn’t been lost, as bridges and levees all over the country are coming under new scrutiny over the wide reaching costs attached.
